Using Exit Tickets for Adaptive Teaching [online] In-Person
Have you ever struggled to gauge how much your students are retaining and understanding from your class week to week? Or have you been surprised at the types of feedback you get at the end of the term in your student evaluations?
It might be time to try the weekly 'Exit Ticket'. This practice helps you get a sense of how much students are understanding from your classes, any sticking points that they could need extra help with, and formative feedback on how you are running the class. Don't wait until the end of the term to reflect and make changes, the exit ticket can help you become a more adaptive and responsive educator.
