Facilitating Difficult Conversations in the Classroom In-Person
Do you teach subject matter that deals with difficult topics like racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or racial/gender-based violence? Facilitating classroom discussions on issues of oppression, violence, and inequity are crucial, but can be difficult to navigate. This workshop shares evidence-based practices that will prepare you on how to set good ground rules, deal with discomfort and encourage healthy dialogue on challenging topics.
