Designing Assessments to Support Academic Integrity (Online) In-Person
Helping students understand expectations around academic conduct is an ongoing process that can take shape in many ways. This interactive session explores ways of designing assessments to support student understanding of academic integrity expectations. The clarity of assessment instructions, context, and criteria benefit all students and have a greater impact in the context of cultural diversity. In addition to assessment design strategies, we will discuss some of the diverse paths to academic integrity, expectations and barriers that we encounter, strategies to guide the process, and what faculty and students require to effectively meet their needs along the way.
