The Power of Storytelling In-Person
Storytelling is a powerful way to engage learners. This session will examine how narratives can be used to 1) foster empathy, compassion and connection to the lived realities of others and 2) promote student reflection on classroom learning within the context of their own stories. This session will explore practical ways that storytelling can be harnessed to get at hard to teach, affective outcomes; making learning meaningful and relevant.
