Creating a Visual Course Syllabus In-Person

A visual syllabus graphically represents key components of a course syllabus. A visual syllabus is a powerful way of communicating critical pieces of information such as the key topics covered, weighting of assessments, important deadlines, and class schedule to students.  A visual course syllabus is intended as a supplement to the traditional course syllabus. In this session, participants will explore what makes a visual syllabus effective and examine examples of existing visual syllabi. Participants are encouraged to bring one of their own course syllabi so we can begin to visually transform it!
