Creating effective Rubrics In-Person
A well-designed assessment tool can provide clear and specific expectations for student learning, promote meaningful feedback and unload the instructor’s time to grade. In this session, participants will reflect on their course and learning outcomes to develop an effective tool by applying key components such as deciding what guide to use, defining criteria, determining performance levels and writing clear descriptions.
