Supporting Meaningful Student Reflection In-Person

Eliciting meaningful reflections from students can sometimes be a challenge, but there are ways instructors can structure reflective exercises for better results. In this session, we'll consider reflection on action and reflection in action, as well as the Four C's of meaningful reflection. Then, we'll explore ways to use articulated learning assignments, various ways of framing reflective questions, and reflective assignment structures and rubrics to help students engage in higher-quality critical reflection.
