Speaking Like a Scholar: Oral Communication In-Person
What makes for effective, compelling oral communication? What makes writing for speech different from writing for the page? How do our varied presentational media, across in-person and virtual contexts, affect the genres which we choose to present in? This workshop considers these questions and others like them, drawing upon evidence-based research to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in presentational contexts. Everyone is welcome.
