Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) Info Session (Online) In-Person
If you are looking for an opportunity to discuss, reflect, and learn in a supportive, safe, and collegial community that values teaching, come meet us to learn more about the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW), which will be offered on July 23-25.
The ISW is designed to enhance the teaching effectiveness of both new and experienced educators. During this 3-day in-person workshop, using an intensive experiential learning approach, participants are provided with information on the theory and practice of teaching adult learners, the selection and writing of useful learning objectives with accompanying lesson plans, techniques for eliciting learner participation, and suggestions for evaluation of learning.
