Welcome to the mêskanâs Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Workshop! This in-person, hands-on workshop and customized workshop for the Department of Music explores the implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles in mêskanâs, focusing on Representation, Expression, and Engagement. Discover how to leverage the available tools, accessibility features, and learner tracking to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Get ready to enhance your Moodle experience with Atto Text Editor Accessibility, Screen-Reader Checkers, and Accessibility Review Block. Let's make learning accessible to all!

  • Moodle UDL Resources
  • Moodle Guides to Consider regarding UDL Principals
  • UDL Principles in mêskanâs
    • Representation (Multiple means of representation): course content in various formats (e.g., text, audio, video) with the focus on mêskanâs available tools such as file, folder, Page, Book, Kaltura Video Streaming etc., including accessibility features and learner tracking completion.
    • Expression (Multiple means of expression): course assessments options for learners to express and demonstrate their knowledge with the focus on mêskanâs available tools such as choice, feedback, glossary, assignment (online, file, audio, and video), quiz etc., including accessibility features and learner tracking completion.
    • Engagement (Multiple means of engagement): engage learners through various strategies such as discussions and group work with the focus on mêskanâs available tools such as group, grouping, group self-selection etc., including accessibility features and learner tracking completion.
