Mentimeter: Active Learning Beyond the Clicks (Online) Online

Center for Teaching and Learning is happy to announce that MacEwan now has institution-wide access to Mentimeter. An interactive presentation and learner engagement tool, Mentimeter allows instructors to create polls, quizzes, and interactive presentations, fostering dynamic and participatory experiences in both virtual and in-person settings. In this workshop, participants will acquire skills to align Mentimeter with learning objectives, create captivating content, and incorporate real-time feedback into their teaching.

  • Implement real-time feedback mechanisms through polls and surveys.
  • Utilize gamification principles to elevate student motivation and participation.
  • Explore strategies to encourage student questions, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
