SoTL (Re) Introductions - Going Public [In-person] In-Person

Conferences, journals, department sessions, academic blogging, and books all count as solid SoTL dissemination destinations. Choosing the best destination for your work has to be strategic. Preliminary findings might be appropriate for a conference. Communicating to a SoTL audience might require more of an emphasis on the cross-disciplinary relevance of the inquiry, while some audiences might be more interested in how you overcame methodological challenges for studying teaching and learning with student data. Your SoTL research project has several rich data points that will have a wide range of meaning for the diverse makeup of a SoTL audience. In this session we will help you create a plan to decide the best places for you to disseminate your work at various stages of your inquiry.
