Wellness & Psychological Services (WPS) Group - mêskanâs Essential 1 - Organizing your course content effectively (In-person) In-Person
This in-person and hands-on workshop limited to Wellness & Psychological Services group only and will show you how to create course shells with the Faculty Centre self-serve application, take you through a quick tour of how to navigate in mêskanâs, and help you upload course content files and set up activities. You will also learn about how to refine the organization of your courses; we will cover some Universal Design for Learning principles to ensure your course is accessible to learners with all abilities.
Workshop Outline:
- How to find help resources
- Finding mêskanâs
- How to create a course (sandbox or template, scheduled)
- Basic navigation
- How to perform certain basic tasks
- Useful Blocks
- Difference between Activities and Resources (interaction vs information sharing)
- Create an activity
- Create a resource
Please note that you must have an active MacEwan credential to be able to login to mêskanâs.
