Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle (In Person) In-Person
Kolb’s (1984) model of experiential learning is one of the most widely used theoretical frameworks in education and provides a compelling answer to the question: ‘How do people learn?’
At the end of this workshop instructors will be able to: i) Recognize key characteristics of Experiential Learning Theory; ii) Identify all four steps in Kolb’s Learning Cycle; iii) Infer how students’ and instructors’ preferences impact how they learn and teach; and iv) Distinguish activities for each of the four phases in Kolb's Learning Cycle.
