Open Reading Event: A Queer, Local Archive
Are you interested in the history of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities in Edmonton? All are welcome to join faculty from the Department of English and Gender Studies to read and discuss an archive of newsletters by the Womonspace group. Starting 1981, Womonspace is the city's longest-running society created by lesbians for lesbians and is one of the most impactful organizations for its contribution to building Edmonton’s lesbian community over its 37-year run. https://www.edmontonqueerhistoryproject.ca/womonspace
