Advancing Understanding of Complexities in Intercultural Competence In-Person
This session is one of the core sessions for Level 2 of our Intercultural Competence Program. Level 2 focuses on ways intercultural competence and pedagogy intersect. Building on the case analysis in the previous session, the aim of this workshop is to consider what successful intercultural engagement looks like in your practice, in the face of unpredictable situations and complexities and advance educators’ analyses of some challenging intercultural situations in higher education. Educators will engage in case analysis and propose resolutions for unique situations based on the university and community resources available for support.
