AI-Powered Activity Design [Online] Online
This interactive, instructor-driven session provides a space to collaborate with peers and explore AI tools to design engaging student activities. There’s no set curriculum—bring a course goal, an assignment idea, or a challenge, and we’ll use generative AI to refine and enhance it. Each instructor will have dedicated time to work through their idea with the group, leveraging AI for inspiration, iteration, and refinement.
In this session, you will:
- Present your goal – What learning outcome or student activity are you developing?
- Use AI to brainstorm – Experiment with different GenAI tools to generate ideas, refine prompts, and adapt activities.
- Apply reverse-engineering – Start with the desired outcome and work backward to structure an engaging learning experience.
- Group feedback & iteration – Get insights from peers and tweak the AI-generated content to make it even better.
