Parting Ways: Activities and Strategies for the End of Term [in person] In-Person
The last days of a course matter. They shape how students remember the experience, what knowledge they carry with them, and the sense of closure they feel. In this workshop, we’ll explore “parting ways” exercises—practical strategies that help students reflect, celebrate their progress, and mark the transition from learning to application. You’ll try out examples that range from quick writing prompts to collaborative activities that highlight shared growth. We’ll also discuss how these practices build belonging and strengthen engagement. You’ll leave with adaptable ideas you can bring directly into your own classroom, ensuring your course ends with intention and impact.
