Ho Ho Ho - Laughing all the way to Engagement In-Person
Join your colleagues in a playful, research-informed workshop that explores the power of laughter—whether subtle or spirited—in fostering presence, emotional safety, and meaningful learning. Grounded in Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction, this session guides faculty through laughter yoga sequences and reflective practices that demonstrate how humour can be a catalyst for engagement and connection.
Participants will leave with practical techniques to integrate laughter into their teaching, a deeper understanding of its role in trauma-informed and self-compassionate pedagogy, and renewed appreciation for how joyful expression can support learning at all levels. Please wear comfortable shoes and be ready to move and laugh.
