mêskanâs (Moodle) Boost, is a new series of one-hour lunchtime sessions designed to help faculty explore practical tools, strategies, and features in mêskanâs (Moodle) that make course design easier, more engaging, and more inclusive.
Updating course activity dates should not take hours. The new feature, Dates, gives faculty a single, clean page to edit the open, due, and cutoff dates for every course activity. No more hunting through individual settings pages or clicking endlessly into assignments, quizzes, forums, etc.
In this 30-minute micro-session, we’ll walk through how to access the tool, understand its layout, and apply efficient workflows to get your course ready for a new term in minutes, not hours.
Perfect for faculty preparing shells, copying courses, or making mid-term adjustments.
This online session is designed for hands-on practice. To get the most out of the experience, we recommend using a second display (or device) so you can follow along and practice in real time.
Prior knowledge of mêskanâs (Moodle) is mandatory as this session is an advanced session following the mêskanâs essential sessions.
