Essentials of Microsoft Word In-Person
This short workshop will introduce participants to Microsoft Word. We will explore Word's interface, learn how to use essential formatting tools, and review common challenges confronting Word users as a group through hands-on practice. By the end, you will be familiar with basic aspects of Word and be able to perform tasks commonly required in university writing, including the following:
- adding page numbers
- adjusting line and paragraph spacing
- creating hanging indents
- standardizing text font and format
- creating headings and subheadings
This workshop will be held in the Computer Lab (7-202C) and does not require registration.
