Genocide Remembrance, Condemnation, and Prevention Month Display In-Person
Genocide Remembrance, Condemnation, and Prevention Month invites us to confront some of the most devastating chapters in human history and to honour the individuals and communities who survived them. Around the world, acts of genocide have targeted people because of their identity: their ethnicity, religion, nationality, culture, and otherwise. Remembering these histories is not only about the past: it is about recognizing the warning signs of hatred, dehumanization, and violence in the present.
This display brings together an array of sources that document, witness, and reflect on genocides. You will also find works that examine how propaganda, discrimination, and silence can lay the groundwork for atrocity.
