Intercultural Competence for Teaching and Learning Information Session [Online] In-Person

Looking for ways to develop cultural competence in the classroom? For you and your students? Come to this information session to learn how this program will support you as you develop your intercultural competence and prepare to guide students in developing their cultural competence. Now called Intercultural Competence for Teaching and Learning, the program continues to aim support your intercultural and global learning objectives.

Why?

Studying culture and responding to cultural diversity has shifted from simple study abroad programs for students to a recognition that students need to have a more diverse skillset in cultural competence, in a range of disciplines. Not only are there accreditation requirements in some disciplines, but the interpersonal skillsets developed through attention to intercultural competence are powerful learning opportunities. How are you addressing the complexities that students need to navigate in their learning and when they graduate? The program resumes to help you create a more inclusive practice. Attend this information session so you can plan for your fall sessions.
