Using Mentimeter in mêskanâs for Live and Asynchronous Engagement Online

Don’t see Mentimeter in your mêskanâs Activity Chooser?
- From your course page, select the More tab.
- Select LTI External Tools.
- Locate Mentimeter and enable Show in Activity Chooser.
During the Session
This practical session will cover:
- Accessing Mentimeter through MacEwan’s mêskanâs environment
- Creating and using Mentimeter activities for live and asynchronous learning
- Understanding participation options, anonymity, and grading
- Reviewing results, reusing activities, and exploring practical teaching examples
Please note: This session focuses specifically on the Mentimeter integration with mêskanâs. PowerPoint integration will not be covered. We will, however, gather faculty input to help determine interest and whether a separate session or an additional resource on PowerPoint integration would be helpful.
