I Just Received an Accommodation Letter. Now What? In-Person

Accommodation letters can raise more questions than they answer, especially for faculty encountering them for the first time. This session walks through what an accommodation letter is and how it is created to support the unique accessibility needs of individual students. Access can be optimized through course design, so we will consider ways that common accommodations can be addressed with a universal approach. During this session, faculty will work through common situations, including questions about lecture recording, confidentiality, and situations in which an accommodation might be adapted to your course and classroom environment.
