SUMMARY:Designing Interactive Infographics - Offered by Dr. Leslie Dawson
DESCRIPTION:This session will be In-Person | Room 6-345\, Building 6\n\nIn 
 this workshop\, participants will learn how to create interactive 
 infographic style pdfs to present course component information to students. 
 Rather than presenting information about an assignment in 2-3 pages of 
 text\, participants in this workshop will learn to outline the assignment 
 in a one-page infographic pdf and then add interactive pop-up windows to 
 present the details of the assignment.\n\nThe benefits of using infographic 
 formats and interactivity to increase student engagement will also be 
 discussed. Although we use an assignment as an example\, participants can 
 use any course component (e.g.\, a lab information sheet or a module 
 overview) that they would like to present as an interactive 
 infographic.\n\nWe ask that all participants ensure their Adobe Creative 
 Cloud account is setup (sign in using your MacEwan credentials) and also 
 bring an assignment (or any other course component) they would like to turn 
 into a one-page interactive infographic. \n\nDownload this Interactive
